April 4, 2012 - Last week, NBC’s “Today Show” doctored George Zimmerman’s 9-1-1 call so that his motive for shooting Trayvon Martin appeared racial. Over the weekend, NBC reported to The Washington Post that an investigation would be forthcoming after the Media Research Center exposed their fraud. It appears NBC’s investigation has been completed. Last night, NBC issued a two sentence explanation on it. Media Research President Brent Bozell says that this is as dishonest as the original piece. "We reject this fraudulent apology,” said Bozell. “We're not surprised. After all, NBC 'investigated' itself. We again call on Comcast, not... continue reading
April 3, 2012 - The Washington Post has reported that NBC will be investigating who at NBC was responsible for dishonestly airing a doctored 9-1-1 conversation between George Zimmerman to make it look like Zimmerman's intent was racially motivated. Media Research Center President Brent Bozell stated this is not enough. "This is a massive breach of the public trust. NBC is guilty of dishonestly fanning the flames of racial hatred in America by doctoring tapes. NBC cannot be trusted with the investigation. It's like Nixon investigating the Watergate tapes. NBC is guilty of deliberately lying to the viewing public, and... continue reading

Roberts Chairman Comcast Corporation Dear Mr. Roberts, By now, you are well aware of the Media Research Center’s (MRC) concerns with MSNBC. Last week, I wrote letters to both you and Mr. Griffin asking for Ed Schultz’s termination because of highly controversial and deplorable comments he routinely makes about women and conservatives. Yesterday, I posted an open letter to Mr. Griffin about equally controversial and appalling comments made by Al Sharpton; comments... continue reading
MRC President L. Brent Bozell's Follow-Up Letter to MSNBC President Phil Griffin, Demanding Griffin Fire Al Sharpton . March 19, 2012 Mr. Phil Griffin President MSNBC Dear Mr. Griffin, Last week, in my open letter to you I called for Ed Schultz’s termination. I also called for you to resign as President of MSNBC because you hired Ed Schultz. Today, I have yet another reason you should step down - one which some might argue is even more compelling than Schultz. His name is Al Sharpton. I have already provided you with ample, documented evidence of Schultz’s repeated, over the... continue reading
MRC President L. Brent Bozell's Letter to Brian Roberts, Chairman of Comcast (MSNBC's parent company) demanding termination of Ed Schultz. March 15, 2012 Mr. Brian L. Roberts Chairman Comcast Corporation Dear Mr. Roberts, As the chairman of Comcast, you have a responsibility to your shareholders and the public to produce programs which follow a basic standard of civility. Unfortunately, MSNBC anchor Ed Schultz regularly doles out hate-filled, venomous rhetoric which has reached a boiling point. MSNBC should not give Mr. Schultz a platform to spew such hate. Therefore, I am calling on you as the Chairman of MSNBC’s parent company,... continue reading
MRC President Brent Bozell sent the following letter to MSNBC President Phil Griffin: March 14, 2012 Mr. Phil Griffin President MSNBC Dear Mr. Griffin, Your network, working on marching orders from Media Matters, is on a mission to take Rush Limbaugh off the air. Far from being an independent journalistic enterprise, MSNBC is the very essence of a political lapdog of the far left. Just last night on MSNBC, Ed Schultz, Al Sharpton, and Lawrence O’Donnell all devoted time on their programs attacking Rush. In each case, they grabbed at thin air looking, looking, looking for the opportunity shamelessly to... continue reading
MRC President L. Brent Bozell III on Louis C.K.’s Decision to Pull out of Radio & TV Association’s Correspondents Dinner “‘Comedian' Louis CK’s decision is a victory for all civilized Americans. Louis CK is a crude misogynist swine of the first order." A couple of years ago, “comedian” Louis CK “joked” on the Opie and Anthony radio show about Palin coming to the Republican convention “holding a baby that just came out of her f-ing, disgusting [C-word], her f-ing retard-making [C-word].” Last night, MRC President, L. Brent Bozell III emailed letters to all the female anchors and on air TV... continue reading
MRC President Brent Bozell sent the following letter to CNN Host Piers Morgan on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Sam Feist, CNN DC Bureau Chief, and Jim Walton, CNN President were cc’ed. Dear Mr. Morgan, I am disturbed by your ongoing double standard when it comes to coverage of political rhetoric. On your show, you recently called Rush Limbaugh out for his insulting comment about a Georgetown law school student: “Limbaugh’s disgusting comments are the work of an archaic old dinosaur living in a warped, ugly swamp, who thinks it’s okay to degrade decent young women for sport and ratings. Well,... continue reading
