One letter, addressed to the CEOs of Facebook, Twitter and Google, is signed by members of the Free Speech Alliance (FSA). The other, from the Family Research Council (FRC), is addressed to the nation’s media and signed by nearly seventy leading conservatives... continue reading

On Wednesday, Media Research Center President Brent Bozell issued an open letter to Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, asking for his position on one of his writers suggesting the assassination of President Donald Trump. The Atlantic journalist, Jemele Hill, is facing backlash for saying Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) should have shouted a quote from an assassin at Pres. Trump, Fox News reports : “Former ESPN host Jemele Hill deleted a tweet in which, describing what a Democratic lawmaker should say at President Trump's State of the Union address, she jokingly referenced a phrase uttered by an assassin before Malcolm... continue reading
On Thursday, conservative organizations, led by Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell, urged U.S. Attorney General William Barr to launch an investigation into the censorship and politically-motivated practices of social media giants Facebook, Twitter, and Google/YouTube. In the following letter to Attorney General Barr, conservative leaders present research supporting the need for a formal Justice Department investigation of the popular, powerful social media platforms. February 21, 2019 The Honorable William Barr U.S. Department of Justice 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20530-0001 Dear Attorney General Barr, Congratulations on your recent confirmation as the 85th Attorney General of the United... continue reading
Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell is among a host of conservative leaders calling on media to apologize to the students of Covington Catholic High School who falsely accused of racism and bigotry based on a deceptively edited video. In a joint statement issued Tuesday, the conservative leaders condemned the harm done to the students by false reports fueled by liberal media hatred for both President Donald Trump and all pro-life Americans: Over the past week, the liberal media and leftist activists viciously attacked Covington Catholic High School, falsely labeling the group of teenagers racists and bigots based on... continue reading
Liberal media coverage of Covington High School students “is not honest journalist’ – it’s just an agenda-driven smear campaign – Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell said in a statement issued Wednesday: “NBC and the liberal mob media have zero concern for the truth. It does not matter to them that a new video, which is now days old, cleared the Covington kids of wrongdoing. It does not matter to them that this non-story has resulted in death threats to these innocent Catholic kids and their families. And, clearly, it does not matter to them that Nathan Phillips, the... continue reading
Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell issued the following statement on Wednesday in response to the company meeting with far-left groups as a part of its civil rights audit : So Facebook has met with radical left-wing so-called “civil rights” organizations and is bending over backward to make changes they want. Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg even declared that the “audit is deeply important to me, and it’s one of my top priorities for 2019.” This is amazing. Mainstream conservative organizations, supported by ten times as many people as these radicals — which is to say, tens of millions... continue reading
Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell issued the following statement on Tuesday in response to CNN's lawsuit against the White House: "CNN's lawsuit is ridiculous. I am, and have always been, a defender of the Constitution and the First Amendment. That said, no one reporter has a constitutional right to access the press briefing room. It's the prerogative of the White House to decide who gets a pass and who does not. Let me be clear: Jim Acosta is not a reporter; he is a left-wing activist. He has proven on countless occasions that he is more interested in... continue reading
Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell issued the following statement on Monday in response to last week's midterm elections: The liberal media are spinning this as a typical off-year result for the incumbent president's party, and a referendum on President Trump, but I think they’re wrong. These aren't typical times and Republicans should have kept their majority in the House, especially running against so many leftists funded by radicals clearly out of the mainstream. My concern has never been for Republicans. It has been for the conservative principles it champions. I am going to be perhaps the only conservative... continue reading
Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell issued the following statement on Monday in response to Saturday Night Live 's "pathetic" mocking of former Navy SEAL, and current Republican congressional candidate, Dan Crenshaw: Saturday Night Live is pathetic and unoriginal. Making fun of a former Navy SEAL for his combat injuries shows that nothing is too low for SNL when they have a chance to mock Republicans. If Crenshaw were a Democrat, this "joke" wouldn't have made it out of the writer's room -- and if by some miracle it did, NBC would have issued an apology within the hour... continue reading
