CNN has ignored a CBS report that back in 2010, the Obama administration knew ObamaCare would force an estimated 14 million workers off their employer-provided insurance. Despite not reporting this big news, CNN stretched to pick out a "silver lining" for the troubled law on Wednesday. "So there's a potential silver lining here," chief national correspondent John King said of poll numbers showing a majority of Americans think the law's problems will "eventually be solved" and it's "too soon to tell" if the law is a failure. CBS reported on Tuesday that, according to a 2010 document from the Centers... continue reading
On Wednesday's CBS This Morning , Jan Crawford zeroed in how President Obama "has got another fight on his hands" over the Supreme Court case challenging the federal government's controversial ObamaCare abortifacients and contraceptive mandate, just as "his administration is trying to get that website up and running." Crawford pointed out that this "legal battle in the Supreme Court could scale back some of what he was trying to accomplish with the law in the first place. " She also underlined that " all this comes as many Americans are feeling forced into this law ." [MP3 audio available here... continue reading

[MP3 audio here. ] Harris opened the segment by lecturing, "Just for a minute, let's do a thought experiment. On Monday's All In show on MSNBC, as he celebrated the "truly historic" news of President Obama's deal with Iran, Chris Hayes mocked "neocons" for having a "dark day" and played the part of liberal caricature by suggesting that "neocons' nefariously wanted war with Iran for the "muscular assertion of military dominance." A bit later, as he admitted that even Democrats in Congress are skeptical of the plan, he fretted about the possibility of Congress imposing more sanctions on Iran as he referred to doing so as "bonkers" and "ridiculous." Hayes began the segment: Saturday was a dark day for... continue reading
Five months after dropping coverage of the Internal Revenue Service scandal, ABC's Good Morning America on Wednesday finally found time to allow a few seconds to mention the targeting of conservatives. CBS and NBC on Tuesday and Wednesday both ignored the fact that the Obama administration is doubling down and now attempting to rein in non-profit groups. GMA 's Josh Elliott blandly noted, "In the wake of the IRS targeting scandal, the Obama administration wants to limit the political influence of tax-exempt groups." He added that the White House is seeking to create new "donation standards to curb the explosive... continue reading
On Monday's All In show on MSNBC, Chris Hayes accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of making himself into a "cartoon" by "tirelessly agitating for war" and "oppos[ing] peace," as the MSNBC host celebrated the "truly historic" news of President Obama's deal with the Iranian government over its nuclear program. Before a clip of Netanyahu calling the agreement a "historic mistake," Hayes complained: "And once again, the people who have been tirelessly agitating for war are turning themselves into cartoons to oppose peace." And during a discussion a bit later, liberal New York Democratic Rep. Eliot Engel found himself taking... continue reading
Sharyl Attkisson uncovered another Obama administration falsehood about ObamaCare on Tuesday's CBS This Morning , spotlighting a 2010 document from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services which "estimated ObamaCare would collectively reduce the number of people with employer-sponsored health coverage by about 14 million ". This is contrary to the White House's "repeated assurances that nothing will change for those insured through work." Attkisson featured the cases of two small business owners who had to discontinue the health insurance plans for their employees, including a New Hampshire woman who "remains an avid ObamaCare supporter," despite the problems with HealthCare.gov... continue reading
All three networks on Tuesday hyped an "interesting" exchange between Barack Obama and a liberal heckler. ABC, CBS and ABC declined, however, to specifically note that the man's concern was that the President simply wasn't liberal enough on the issue of immigration reform. On NBC's Today , Natalie Morales praised, "You know, I think that the President handled it well by engaging." [MP3 audio here .] Co-host Willie Geist defended the President's insistence that he needs Congress to pass legislation.
