While Monday's NBC Today began its 7 a.m. ET hour coverage of the ObamaCare enrollment deadline by noting the healthcare.gov website had crashed yet again, it took an hour for ABC's Good Morning America and CBS This Morning to notice the malfunction and mention it in their reporting. Here’s a real shocker. Someone in Hollywood confessing they are “patriotic.” Mindy Kaling , the star and creator of Fox’s The Mindy Project , admitted on Friday’s Charlie Rose show that she’s “weirdly patriotic” -- because of course being patriotic in the left-leaning entertainment industry must be considered weird. CBS This Morning co-anchor Norah O'Donnell on Monday adopted alarmist language for global warming. She referred to climate skeptics as "deniers." CBS offered two stories on a new United Nations report predicting catastrophic weather in the future. Physicist Michio Kaku appeared as a guest and worried, "But collectively, 100-year storms, 100-year floods, 100-year droughts, 100-year forest fires. Appearing on Monday's Today , NBC's chief White House correspondent and political director Chuck Todd seized on ObamaCare hitting the six million sign-up mark by the March 31 deadline, proclaiming: "So at a minimum, the importance of hitting the six million....it means the law is unrepealable....It means that it's here to stay." NBC’s Chuck Todd filled in for David Gregory as moderator of Meet the Press on Sunday and took the opportunity to mock Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for a campaign ad he ran last week. At issue for Todd was an ad by McConnell which erroneously featured an image of two Duke University basketball players mistaken for Kentucky Wildcats, to which Todd ridiculed “was a whole mess that day because first he had the wrong thing, then he changed it, then the NCAA said oh you can’t use our players and then, pretty much insult to injury, ” his Louisville team... continue reading

Friday's CBS Evening News featured a previously unaired portion of Scott Pelley's softball interview of President Obama on his recent meeting with Pope Francis. The Vatican noted on Thursday that "there was a discussion on questions of particular relevance for the Church...such as the exercise of the rights to religious freedom, life and conscientious objection " – a reference to the Catholic Church's objection to ObamaCare's abortifacient/contraception mandate. To accompany ABC's tough interview of New Jersey governor Chris Christie, Friday's Nightline quoted New Jersey Democrats slamming him as a vengeful "bully." World News anchor Diane Sawyer noted that "critics remember the lure of Christie's brash personal style" before airing clips of Democrats pounding him.
