Paul Olivett

Philanthropic Advisor, Northeast region

Paul is the Philanthropic Advisor, Northeast region, where he identifies and cultivates relationships with philanthropists and helps them meet their charitable investment goals.

Before joining the MRC in 2019, Paul spent more than 25 years as a professional fundraiser, including six years with National Review and five years with The Pennsylvania State University as a Regional Director of Development and Planned Giving Officer. 

He has spent most of the last 15 years working for organizations in the free market and conservative movement, raising millions of dollars to support these groups and their missions.

Paul majored in English at Franklin and Marshall College before attending graduate school at Penn State University, earning a Masters in Higher Education.

He thoroughly affirms his passion for the mission at the MRC and says that “meeting new and interesting people” is an excellent benefit of the job.  

It is important to Paul to forge strong relationships through his work at the MRC, applying his favorite mantra to get the job done right: “Well done is better than well said.”
